Description:

The Borne Béton Petite Table Lamp, designed by Le Corbusier in 1952, is a remarkable blend of Brutalist architecture and modern lighting. Originally created for the outdoor area of the Unité d’Habitation in Marseille and to illuminate the Bhakra and Sukhna Dams in India, this lamp showcases an early experiment with concrete in lamp design. Its raw, spartan concrete form houses a built-in LED source, with each lamp featuring unique aesthetic and finishing variations. This distinctiveness makes each Borne Béton lamp a unique piece. An outdoor version is also available.
