The Nesso Table Lamp by Artemide Lighting, a retro design icon originally created by Giancarlo Mattioli and Gruppo Architetti Urbanisti Città Nuova in the 1960s. This Modern Classics reissued piece brought industrial materials and methods to home and office environments, utilising ABS thermoplastic injection molding for its exceptional design when first introduced in 1967.
Inspired by nature and resembling a mushroom, the lamp's cup beautifully illuminates the light source, making it a perfect addition to offices, living rooms, or workplace lobbies. Nesso has since become a design icon and is proudly featured in the permanent collections of The Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Museum of Modern Art.
