Designed by Neil Poulton for Artemide, the Alambicco Horizontal Pendant Light celebrates the beauty of blown glass through a layered composition of transparency, texture and light.
At its centre, an extruded aluminium structure houses integrated LED technology, forming the technical core of the fixture. A knurled glass cylinder surrounds the structure, subtly refracting the internal components while creating a soft, glare-free glow. Rounded, transparent glass diffusers complete the design, featuring intricate textures inspired by the traditional balloton glassblowing technique.
Combining artisanal craftsmanship with contemporary lighting innovation, Alambicco brings depth and visual interest to interiors. Its horizontal profile makes it a striking feature above dining tables, kitchen islands and counters in residential or commercial spaces.
