The Lampe de Bureau Floor Lamp was created by Charlotte Perriand in 1965, inspired by her earlier wall version designed to illuminate faces reflected in a mirror. Originally conceived for a piece of furniture created for the French glassworks Boussois, the design highlights Perriand’s thoughtful approach to functional lighting. Its diffuser features a white interior that preserves the natural quality of the light, while the translucent moulded glass exterior creates a pure, luminous finish.
