Planar 170 Type 1 Fixed Surface Downlight
The Planar 170 Type 1 Fixed Surface Downlight combines a broad, refined profile with discreet architectural lighting. Designed for surface mounting, it provides a soft, indirect wash of light through its rotationally symmetrical optic, creating an understated illumination effect with minimal glare. The fixed orientation directs light consistently, making it well suited to ceilings and architectural spaces where ambient lighting is desired without visual clutter.
Crafted from marine-grade aluminium with a durable powder-coated finish, the Planar 170 is available in Structured White or Structured Black. With an IP65 rating, it offers added protection for a range of applications, while 2700K or 3000K colour temperatures provide warm, comfortable illumination. Dimming options include Fixed Output, Phase and DALI.
