Designed for lingering from morning espresso to late-night red, Bar Lettera is a refined all-day dining room on Level 5 of Citadines Walker North Sydney - a space built to feel like a modern-day artist's apartment, every day of the week.
A warm, Negroni-inspired palette of smooth marble, raw Australian hardwood, and hand-thrown ceramics defines the interiors, drawing its muse from Theodora Cowan, Australia's first female sculptor. Three stone plinths carry sculptural ceramic work through the space, marking the line between dining room and bar, while hard, structured stone at ground level softens as the eye lifts toward the canopy above.
At Bar Lettera, lighting is woven into the architecture rather than layered over it.
Against stone, timber and richly tactile finishes, each fitting brings its own character — creating moments of warmth, contrast and visual rhythm throughout the space. As daylight fades, the lighting shifts the atmosphere again, taking the restaurant effortlessly from morning espresso to evening dining.
Here, lighting enhances materiality, shapes mood and brings a quiet sense of theatre to the everyday dining experience.
