Welcome back to our Salone journey. In Volume 2, we dive into Day 2 and 3, where we wrapped up our time in Halls 6 to 10 before venturing into Pavilions 2 to 4-and once again, we were completely captivated by the scale, creativity, and innovation that surrounded us.
Each new space unfolded like a chapter, revealing lighting collections that ranged from bold Spanish decorative pieces to refined Italian glasswork and everything in between. We wandered through immersive installations, stumbled upon familiar favourites, and discovered exciting new names that left lasting impressions.
If only we had a week to spend in each pavilion! Until then, here’s a curated glimpse into the brands and designs that caught our eye during this next leg of our Salone del Mobile experience.
Artemide
Bold, immersive, and undeniably iconic - Artemide's presence at Salone this year was unmissable. From the moment you laid eyes on the glowing contour faces etched in neon against their signature deep red walls, you knew this was more than a stand - it was a statement. Framed by soft white drapery, the exterior drew you in with curiosity, while the inside unfolded like chapters of a beautifully lit story.
Walking into the space, it became instantly clear just how expansive the Artemide world is. Seamlessly transitioning from outdoor applications to decorative masterpieces and architectural innovations, the layout invited you to experience the brand through layers of light, form, and storytelling. A wild, rustic garden of native flora anchored the space - a poetic nod to the brand's ever-growing dialogue between nature, design, and technology.
Artemide’s 2025 collection is all about synergy - merging the minds of iconic designers and emerging voices, and presenting new creations alongside thoughtfully re-edited classics. Their designs are driven by research, technological innovation, and an unwavering commitment to sustainability.
One standout was Arctic by the Bjarke Ingels Group, a prismatic pendant that turns light into a sculptural, multifaceted experience. Nearby, Auralia by Carlo Colombo paid homage to the purity of quartz crystals - both glowing like lit gems, suspended in mid-air. These designs felt simultaneously futuristic and grounded in nature, embodying the essence of contemporary luxury.
We were also thrilled to see Orfeo by Ettore Sottsass reintroduced in a refreshingly vibrant green alongside Alcinoo, a nostalgic yet futuristic ribbed glass lamp that offers both softness and spectacle.
Alambicco took things one step further a layered lighting fixture composed of knurled glass cylinders and an extruded aluminium spine. Its modular form both conceals and reveals the inner glow, creating a soft diffusion without glare. It’s a technical marvel wrapped in aesthetic finesse.
What struck us most was how Artemide continues to balance sculptural elegance with purposeful design. Whether it’s illuminating a garden path, defining a commercial space, or creating atmosphere in a home, Artemide does it with grace, intelligence, and innovation.
Their stand wasn't just a showcase of lights - it was a masterclass in how light defines space, mood, and experience. A perfect example of Italian design excellence and a reminder that true innovation is as much about emotion as it is about function.
Olev
Born and handmade in Colceresa, Italy, every piece from OLEV is a tribute to elegance, technology, and well-being. Their approach to lighting goes far beyond aesthetics. These aren’t just lamps - they’re instruments designed to mimic the nuances of natural sunlight, shifting in colour and intensity throughout the day. The result? A healthier, more balanced environment that supports both mind and body.
At Salone del Mobile, OLEV’s stand was a luminous oasis - a gentle pause amidst the high-energy chaos of the fair. It felt calming, thoughtful, and beautifully curated. The glow of hand-blown glass paired with cutting-edge LED innovation created an atmosphere that was both futuristic and deeply human.
We were especially captivated by the Curuba collection - a stunning display of gradient hues. Achieving those delicate colour transitions requires a meticulous glass-firing process, and the result is a soft, almost ethereal effect that’s truly one-of-a-kind.
Another showstopper was LikeShadow - more than a lamp, it’s a sculptural experience. With hand-woven carbon fibre thread, this piece turns shadow into art, casting intricate patterns that animate any space with quiet drama.
And then there’s Terra&Luna this floor lamp pairs aluminium with mouth-blown glass using the traditional balloton technique. Its dual light beam - upward and downward - is both functional and enchanting, making it a standout piece in any setting.
From soft glows to powerful statements, OLEV proves that lighting can be a design centrepiece and a wellness tool. We left their booth with the sense that light, in the right hands, can truly change how we feel in a space.
Aromas del Campo
From potpourris to pendants, Aromas del Campo has had quite the evolution. Founded in 1986 in Valencia, the brand started with aromatic dried flowers and has since grown into a leading name in decorative lighting.
At Salone del Mobile, Aromas presented a stand that was both vibrant and packed - a sensory feast of colour, shape, and texture. It wasn’t just a showcase; it was a celebration of design evolution. Familiar icons stood proudly alongside exciting new releases, and the energy around the booth was magnetic.
What truly stood out was their bold use of mixed materials - glass, marble, fabric, and metal, all playing harmoniously across their lighting designs.
Highlights That Caught Our Eye:
The Pull Collection
A versatile series spanning floor lamps, pendants, wall, and table lamps. This family is defined by its clean silhouettes and use of contrasting materials. Fabric shades meet marble bases, all tied together with minimalist lines.
Betty Collection
Possibly the standout for us - Betty Pendant Light & Wall Light was pure elegance. Its organic curves and subtle colour ways (with custom glass finishes like amber and soft blue) struck that perfect balance between minimalism and charm. It’s a piece that feels just as at home in a contemporary loft as it would in a chic hotel lounge.
Mapi
Playful yet refined, the Mapi collection is a sculptural blend of colour, form, and rhythm. With stacked geometric glass elements and bold finishes, Mapi transforms light into a statement - whether standing tall or suspended above. A true design totem that adds character to any space.
Aromas del Campo continues to prove that lighting can be more than just functional - it can be expressive, warm, and deeply personal. Their Salone presence reminded us that the best design speaks to all the senses, not just the eyes.
Cangini & Tucci
At Salone, Cangini & Tucci offered a calm, glowing escape - a beautifully curated stand that felt more like an art gallery than a booth. Their signature hand-blown glass, crafted with care since 1961, was on full display, and we were instantly drawn into their world.
From the reflective elegance of the Zoe and Pit pendants to the fresh and playful Cherry collection, every piece exuded craftsmanship and character. The soft metallics and mirrored finishes caught light in a way that felt both modern and timeless.
New favourites included Mark, with its smooth, organic silhouettes, and Dalma, whose layered glass forms created a diffused, almost ethereal glow. The delicate discs of the Hydra collection were also a quiet standout, casting beautiful radial light patterns on the walls.
Cangini & Tucci reminded us that great lighting doesn’t just brighten a room - it transforms it. Effortlessly elegant, deeply artisanal, and undeniably emotional.
Astro Lighting
Astro Lighting's stand at Salone 2025 welcomed us into a space that was calm, curated, and quietly confident-true to their design ethos. Since 1997, founders John Fearon and James Bassant have stayed committed to crafting lighting that blends timeless British design with modern functionality. At the heart of their brand is a belief in thoughtful engineering, durability, and purpose-led aesthetics.
This year, Astro introduced exciting updates that push their signature minimalism into new terrain. The hero of the stand? Their expansion into coastal-grade materials. The introduction of PVD brass, a corrosion-resistant finish that maintains its appearance in harsh climates, is perfect for coastal and high-humidity environments-think Aussie summers and poolside projects. Ceramic was also spotlighted as a sustainable, hardwearing choice with beautiful tactility. These materials featured prominently in updated ranges like Ava Wall, Montreal, Oslo, and Dunbar.
Their new modular downlights also impressed designed for flexibility with interchangeable beam angles, colour temperatures, and finishes, they’re tailored for both residential and commercial needs.
Whether you're styling a cozy bedroom, a luxe bathroom, or a hospitality fit-out, Astro continues to offer lighting that feels intentional, refined, and built to last. Salone reaffirmed their position as leaders in timeless, design-forward illumination.
Icone Lighting
The ICONE stand was a sculptural experience in itself. With generous space and thoughtful layouts, it allowed each piece to shine - quite literally. Known for blending materials like metal, fabric, and glass into points of light and form.
At the heart of their showcase was the Ciondolo - a suspended, graphic element that plays with transparency and light diffusion. Lightweight in design, yet bold in statement, it shifts from opaque to satin-like textures, casting soft light without harsh shadows. A perfect balance of elegance and minimalism.
Equally captivating was the Bolla Collection, featuring blown glass spheres suspended from retractable cables - allowing height and light position to be adjusted at any time. It’s lighting with movement and freedom, with stunning finishes from gradients to delicate filigree.
Armonia and Clips, meanwhile, stood out for their simplicity and refined detailing - featuring warm wooden finishes that added a subtle natural texture to their sleek profiles.
Designed by Marco Pagnoncelli, every piece told a story of innovation and restraint. At ICONE, light isn't just illumination - it's an atmosphere, a design gesture, a quiet luxury.
Pavillions 2 to 4
Our journey continued into Pavilions 2 to 4, where the future of lighting was truly brought to life. At the heart of it all was the Euroluce International Lighting Forum, curated by Annalisa Rosso in collaboration with APIL (Italian Association of Lighting Designers). Set within the breathtaking Forest of Space Arena, designed by visionary Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, the space hosted two days of thought-provoking masterclasses, round tables, and workshops.
Surrounding this inspiring hub was an incredible mix of timeless heritage brands and boundary-pushing newcomers - all offering their own interpretation of where lighting design is heading next.
Santa & Cole
One of our most anticipated stops at Salone was the ever-inspiring Santa & Cole, a Spanish brand we've cherished from the very beginning of the Nook Collection journey. Walking into their space felt less like entering a stand and more like stepping into a serene, curated home - subtle, ambient, and grounded in warmth. A space that immediately made you exhale.
Their theme, “Dream and Memory,” beautifully captured what Santa & Cole does best - creating emotional connections through light. This year, they invited us to explore a harmonious coexistence between iconic re-editions and innovative new designs. As we wandered through, the dialogue between past and present was clear: pieces from different eras and aesthetics stood together effortlessly, bonded by a shared language of quiet elegance.
Guided by the belief that lighting should enhance not just the object but the experience, the exhibition urged visitors “to look beyond the lamps and pay closer attention to the light” (Gabriel Ordeig, 1985). Light became the protagonist - soft, layered, atmospheric - inviting introspection before admiration.
We found ourselves revisiting beloved classics like the M64, Sylvestrina (in a fresh white finish), and the Cestita Alubat, which now comes in new, refined colours.
Alongside these, Santa & Cole unveiled thoughtful evolutions of the Tekiò Mayor and TMA, which continue to explore the balance between structure and softness. Brand-new launches like Alterna and La Bella introduced geometric purity and poetic restraint, proving once again that form can be expressive without being loud.
The entire experience felt deeply intentional - like a visual essay on how light shapes emotion, memory, and space. As always, Santa & Cole transcends the expected. Their stand didn’t feel like a temporary installation at a trade fair. It felt like a lived-in chapter of their catalogue - one we could happily linger in a little longer.
They remain committed to designing not just lights, but atmospheres. From their LED-forward innovations like Cirio and Tekiò, to their continued respect for tradition, every piece is made to be timeless, human, and quietly transformative. Santa & Cole doesn’t just light spaces - they illuminate experiences.
Panzeri
With over 70 years of lighting excellence, Panzeri continues to embody the essence of Made in Italy through a seamless blend of quality, tradition, and innovation. Stepping into their Euroluce 2025 stand was like entering a carefully choreographed dialogue between light and space-fluid, immersive, and undeniably elegant.
The layout felt more like a gallery than an exhibition booth: soft curves, layered materials, and thoughtful illumination guided visitors through a calm, tactile experience of Panzeri’s newest expressions of light. Their design narrative, “Manufacture of Light,” was brought to life with poetic precision.
We were introduced to five new collections, each with a distinct voice. Adamas made a striking impression with its sculptural form and prismatic blown glass, throwing delicate shadows and reflections across the space. Ombra, meanwhile, explored the intersection of textile and light-its circular form suspended by gravity alone, casting a soft, ambient glow that felt like a whisper.
A standout trend we noticed across Euroluce was acoustic lighting, and Panzeri’s take on human-centric, functional design proved they’re ahead of the curve, with luminaires that not only illuminate but also support wellness.
And of course, we couldn’t leave without mentioning the updated finishes in the Murané collection. Already a staple in our Nook showroom, seeing it in new green and smoky tones felt like reuniting with an old friend-familiar, yet refreshed.
Panzeri's booth didn’t just showcase lighting-it created a mood, a moment, a memory.
Axolight
Warm, tactile, and undeniably elegant - Axolight’s stand at Euroluce 2025 was a masterclass in spatial storytelling. Stepping into the Axolight booth felt like walking into a serene and curated gallery, where each lighting piece was given its own quiet stage to shine. The architectural structure was framed in deep red with soft beige walls and glowing installations, striking a perfect balance between bold identity and understated sophistication.
This Italian lighting brand, known for combining contemporary lighting technology with artisanal “Made in Italy” quality, once again showcased their signature flair for blending innovation with craft. The display revealed a cohesive yet diverse design language that felt playful, thoughtful, and deeply refined.
New Collections The launch of Bender, Kiss, Orbis, and Pedro added fresh vibrancy to the catalog-each with a whimsical yet smart personality that captures Axolight’s distinctive approach. These luminaires weren’t just lights; they were character pieces, showcasing inventive forms and joyful palettes.
Acoustic Meets Aesthetic A noteworthy trend this year-and one that Axolight tackled with flair-was the seamless integration of acoustic solutions. The Skirt collection brought fashion into the realm of functional lighting. Inspired by the movement and texture of a garment, these fixtures not only cast warm, diffused light but also significantly improved sound absorption (reducing noise by up to 53%). It was a clever balance of beauty and performance.
The Bell pendant was another prime example. With its oversized dome, crafted from flame-retardant and sound-absorbing pongé fabric, Bell made a statement without overwhelming the space. Despite its size, it carried a sense of softness and elegance, and its acoustic rating (up to 59% noise reduction) made it perfect for both public and private interiors needing a quiet but expressive touch.
An Inviting Stand The space itself was intuitively laid out, allowing each design room to breathe.
Whether it was a poetic nod to nature or a futuristic take on soft geometry, Axolight’s presence at Euroluce 2025 proved once again that lighting can be more than functional-it can be emotional, atmospheric, and artfully bold.
Moretti Luce
Since 1991, Moretti Luce has been producing distinctive lighting pieces that not only respond to market demand, but also consistently wow with their commitment to craftsmanship and character. While the brand is continuously evolving with new technologies and innovations, it holds tightly to its roots - respect for quality materials, artisanal techniques, and timeless design.
Their stand at Salone del Mobile Milano 2025, under the theme “Timeless Light,” perfectly embodied these values. The moment you entered, you were met with an effortlessly elegant display: walls of softly lit brass fixtures, garden-style planters with lush greenery, and warm wooden textures creating a harmonious and inviting atmosphere. It was a refreshing juxtaposition of modern presentation and vintage soul.
The layout invited you to experience their indoor and outdoor brass collections side-by-side, reinforcing Moretti’s commitment to versatility. From sleek wall sconces and lanterns to bollards and garden stakes, each piece told a story of meticulous metalwork, perfected over decades.
Their finishes - weathered, polished, brushed - each added their own chapter to that story. It wasn’t just about lighting a space; it was about imbuing it with presence and character.
Highlights from the collection included Gemstone, a refined range of brass garden lights that bring a jewel-like glow to outdoor spaces; Cubic, a series of die-cast brass wall lamps combining clean geometric lines with a nostalgic vintage touch; and the sleek new Stick Lights, offering a minimal, directional lighting solution with a sculptural edge - an exciting addition we hope to see more of in Australia.
Every element of the Moretti Luce stand felt purposeful. The carefully curated wall of fixtures and soft botanical landscaping brought a sense of calm and timeless elegance to the otherwise fast-paced and bustling fair. You could see and feel the care put into each creation.
Moretti Luce doesn’t just create lighting—they craft enduring statements that transcend time and trend.
Ideal Lux
Founded in 1974, Ideal Lux has cultivated a vision that brings together a diverse array of lighting solutions under one cohesive brand. From classic decorative styles to bold modern aesthetics, their offerings stretch across interior, exterior, and even technical lighting - making them a brand of breadth as much as depth. What really set their Euroluce 2025 presence apart was how effortlessly they translated that diversity into a fully immersive experience. The stand was thoughtfully curated, not just to display products, but to evoke emotion and shift perception through light.
As visitors, we were taken on a journey through contrasting environments - rooms bathed in brightness where light felt expansive and open, followed by darker, intimate spaces where subtle glows and accents invited you to pause and reflect. This contrast showcased Ideal Lux’s understanding of how light impacts not just visibility, but mood, emotion, and spatial identity.
A standout was the Oracle Slim, a new pendant that encapsulates the beauty of minimalist design. Available in both circular and square variations, its clean lines and understated presence offer elegance without overpowering a space. It feels architectural yet poetic - an ideal choice for modern interiors looking for a touch of quiet sophistication.
Another highlight was Binomio - a lamp that combines industrial precision with refined materials. Its metal frame supports blown acid-etched white glass diffusers that emit a soft, ambient glow, while the visible screw fittings add a mechanical edge that contrasts beautifully with the delicate glass. Offered in white, black, and brushed brass, Binomio is the kind of fixture that elevates any room with a sense of thoughtful craftsmanship.
Ideal Lux may not be a household name just yet, especially in our local market, but this showing proved they’re not just following lighting trends - they’re setting them. With every product and design decision, they’re creating lighting that lives at the intersection of emotion, function, and form. The result? A brand that doesn’t just illuminate spaces—but redefines how we feel in them.
